About DBS Data
History & Culture
Established since 1994 DBS Data has held a strong position in the Data industry for more than 20 years. As active members of the DMA (Direct Marketing Association) we have helped to shape the data industry in the UK. One of our core strengths is our people, many have been with us for years and all share a passion for data and compliance.
DBS Data is a truly exceptional place to work in pretty much every respect. Now I know that most organisations will paint a great picture for PR’s sake and we are no different but we really can evidence our amazing culture at every touch point! When surveyed recently here’s how our staff described life at DBS Data.
These sentiments are shared by our clients too, and that’s really important.
So how do we evidence this great culture? By regularly measuring how all of our stakeholders feel about us.
An ongoing customer service satisfaction tracker survey says that our clients like working with us, due in no small part to the happy people here that they work with. Customer complaints are incredibly rare, so too are complaints from our audience despite the potentially sensitive nature of our business. We work incredibly hard to enhance and protect the data subject experience, and as a result, we receive only a handful of enquiries each month.
We believe that culture is the combined effect of the people, hire the right people and great things happen. The only corporate steer is that Investors, employees, suppliers, partners, clients and our audience be treated with care and respect. Hire, develop, evolve, care and contribute to delivering first class offers for our audience and a brand building experience for our clients and have fun along the way.
The real hard facts? Our average length of service is 8.9 years, on average we settle our bills within 40 days, our partnerships are all long term, client services first rate and our compliance and data subject service team second to none, we aim to provide a same day service in the majority of cases.
Our Environmental Policy
At DBS Data we are committed to minimising our environmental impact and doing business in an environmentally responsible manner.
We are working towards a paperless office, and at present our employees use, on average, just 20 sheets each per week. We have a policy of recycling all waste within the office. We will work to reduce our consumption of energy and to reduce our contribution towards emissions of gases and other pollutants which are believed to contribute to climate change.
We also monitor and work to reduce our contribution to environmental emissions from travel undertaken for business purposes, and encourage our employees to use public transport whenever possible.
DBS Data also contributes to a local tree planting programme to help improve the local environment for future generations.
