DBS Announced as Jicmail Platinum Partner
London, 28th November – JICMAIL, the joint industry currency for mail, has today announced the latest winners of its Platinum Awards, which have been given to 4 new companies and 8 renewals for existing Platinum Partners for their outstanding expertise and practice in planning, measuring and evaluating mail campaigns with JICMAIL data. With 5 new companies confirmed earlier in the year, this brings the total number of Platinum partners up to 17.
Platinum Organisational Accreditation is the highest accolade given by JICMAIL and has been awarded to businesses who have fully embraced JICMAIL data into their businesses. They have been required to demonstrate a level of proficiency with JICMAIL beyond its basic application which includes evidence of JICMAIL data being embedded into the subscriber’s L&D programs, routinely applied across the planning, sales and data ecosystems, together with case study evidence that JICMAIL is being systematically used to retain or grow business.
We are delighted to make this third second round of awards for exceptional practice with the joint-industry-owned planning currency which now has over 190 accredited subscribers.
This round of winners spans the interests of the industry:
- Go Inspire Group – A Xerox Company
- DBS Datamarketing Limited
- MetroMail
- Nutshell Creative Marketing
For agencies, intermediaries and sell-side organisations to be awarded Platinum accreditation, they will have gone beyond a specific set of tasks as agreed in their adoption plans which need to be completed to maintain their accredited status.
They will have exceeded their individual training targets across the three tiers of JICMAIL training ranging from Bronze for demonstrating basic proficiency with the data, to Silver for intermediate users, to Gold for expert users. The Bronze and Silver Awards are readily accessible through the JICMAIL Academy e-learning platform and count towards CPD training hours. There are now well over 1000 individual training awards.
The JICMAIL judging panel were impressed by the commitment to harnessing the value if JICMAIL and the range of work and applications on show from this round of winners.
Mark Cross, Engagement Director at JICMAIL added
“It has been a delight to review how these latest winners and renewals have embraced JICMAIL across their businesses. We will look to create opportunities to share some of the best practice on show from these submissions, much of it inspirational, but collectively, it represents a brilliant capture of the value that is possible if users bring JICMAIL insights and data into their day-to-day ways of working for clients. Congratulations to both the new awards and to the those we have renewed, you represent inspiring role models in setting new standards for the industry.”

Notes for Editors:
JICMAIL data is gathered from a panel of one thousand households a month. The mail activity of every household member is tracked using a diary-based app. Every mail item they receive over the course of a week is captured, and everything they do with that mail item over the course of a month is recorded.
JICMAIL data is used by advertisers, agencies, printers, mailing houses and mail sell side organisations to demonstrate the value of mail, plan more efficient and effective mail campaigns, track mail performance and provide detailed competitor insight.
JICMAIL is a Joint Industry Currency – an independent organisation with a board comprising both the buy-side and sell-side of the mail channel.
